OUR NEWS...14th National Virtual Science Show

Math printing: a challenge with the 3D printer is the title of our project selected for the 14th National Virtual Science Show.

Seek to use and monetize 3D printer in a mathematical perspective was the purpose of our work, in order to illustrate ways of providing not only the approach of certain mathematical concepts and procedures, but also to disclose some discoveries, inventions and curiosities that mark the history of Science, in particular the history of mathematics. The use of 3D design software and a 3D printer in the physical construction of three-dimensional mathematical objects, presents itself as a tool capable of enhancing learning in areas of knowledge that require greater rigor and a greater capacity for abstraction. Drawing and printing in 3D thus provides a different way to explore and learn mathematics.
