Mathematical impressions: a challenge with the 3D printer

On 26th and 27th of November, in a virtual exhibition, the XI National Science Show takes place. Once again, the span and a half scientists participate in this National event with a work that aims:

Seek to use and monetize a 3D printer from a mathematical perspective is the purpose, with the aim of illustrating ways to provide not only the approach to mathematical concepts and procedures, but also to disseminate some discoveries, inventions and curiosities that mark the history of Science in particular the history of mathematics. The use of 3D design software and a 3D printer in the physical construction of three-dimensional mathematical objects, presents itself as a tool capable of enhancing learning in areas of knowledge that require greater rigor and a greater capacity for abstraction. Drawing and printing in 3D thus offers a different way to explore and learn mathematics.
